Reporting & sourcing
We identify sources where it is safe and appropriate, distinguish firsthand reporting from analysis, and provide links or references for historical and data-driven claims. Anonymous sources are used only when the information is important and the source faces a credible risk.
Corrections policy
We correct factual errors promptly and visibly. If an error materially changes the meaning of a story, we add a note explaining what changed. Contact info@ogaalstar.com with a correction request and the relevant story link.
Reporting and opinion
News and reported features are labeled as reporting. Analysis, columns and commentary are labeled as opinion or analysis. Headlines and social copy should reflect the story accurately rather than exaggerate it.
Ownership & funding
Ogaal Star is an independently operated publication. Commercial partnerships, grants, sponsored content and other funding relationships should be disclosed when they could reasonably affect a reader’s understanding of a story.
Comments & privacy
Comments should be constructive and relevant. The demo comment form on this local site does not transmit data to a server. A production implementation should publish a clear privacy notice, moderation process, retention policy and spam-protection details before collecting reader information.
